RESTAURANT, Food disappointing and loveless. Nice location at the beach though. We came here for lunch and all the 3 dishes we ordered were disappointing. The Tuna tartar wasn't a tartar at all. It was a huge portion of big chunks of Tuna. Not seasoned well and the peaces of tuna were just way too big. Sandwich: The Sandwich bread completely fell apart and the salad was mushy. Pasta carbonara: The pasta was overcooked and the Guanciale wasn't crispy, almost raw. For so many Italian dishes on the menu and the prices they charge, the experience was very disappointing over all!

We stayed for 8 sensational nights and loved every minute of it. Staff is beyond wonderful and took extra good care of our son. Restaurant served great food, yummy breakfast, delicious cocktails and prices are very reasonable. Location is fantastic and you can snorkle directly from the hotel's beach. A few nice restaurants closeby. Only minus is that its a bit of a hassle getting enough water since you need to go to reception/bar for a refill. Thank you so much for having us and making our week in Malapascua so wonderful!

Date: 7-9 Dec 2024 Nights: 2 We stayed at this hotel following the reviews on Google and because we thought it would be the best option on the island. However, after two days we decided to move for different reasons that we describe next in our review. Location: The hotel is 5 mins walking from the port. The location is very good as you have the entrances on the port side and the restaurant on the ocean side. Services / team: The team is very young and enthusiastic but in some cases, you can notice the lack of good training, especially during breakfast time. Check-in process: The check-in process was smooth but we were not able to pay as their card terminal had problems and it was not working well. And we were asked to pay via a transfer to an account in Italy, we didn’t agree so we decided to try again on our check-out, and luckily everything worked correctly. Rooms: We had a very spacious room with a view of the ocean. The room decoration was very basic and we only had 2 pictures of Sophia Loren on the wall, not very appealing to be honest. Bed: Very bad quality bed and pillows, after the first night I had a horrible back and neck ache and it's when we decided to move hotels as we could only handle one more night of an uncomfortable bed. Bathroom: Very small shower, that smells like mould Internet connection: This was a big NO no, we only were allowed to have internet on two devices and only 5GB during our stay. This is the first time we had this situation in all our travels. Internet is a key service that every hotel offers without restrictions and this was one of the big reasons we decided to leave. Views: Very small beach area and full of rocks, you don’t have a proper view of the sunset as the view is covered by the restaurant next door, so during the sunset better move to the next door hotel or move to another area of the island. Cleanliness: The room was always clean and also every part of the hotel. The staff works hard to have every part of the hotel (rooms, restaurant, beach, stairs, etc.) well maintained. Breakfast: The worst breakfast we have ever had. . The first day, we ordered the Italian breakfast (hoping that the quality standards would match the price of the night) we received 1 small glass with juice, 1 coffee, a mini glass with yogurt, 2 cookies, and 1 banana. We seriously couldn’t believe our eyes. At this point, it was very clear that we really would not stand our stay. The next day they changed the breakfast, to a buffet approach. And the reason that they gave us was because there were more guests in the hotel and for that reason the buffet. In any case, the buffet was very small, with untrained and confused staff. In general, as we mentioned at the beginning, this had been the worst breakfast that we have ever had in our years of travels around the world. Highlights: On this occasion, we didn’t feel that anything was particularly relevant in our stay, very bland. Quality vs price: Way more expensive than other hotels in the area. You can find fantastic hotels around, with more quality and better prices. Others: No available laundry services Rate: In this case, we will not recommend you to stay in this hotel as there are so many other options on the island, with very nice beach areas, better rooms, and at better prices. We hope the management improves with our comments, as we believed that this hotel could have good potential. Happy travels!

My girlfriend and I fell ill with food poisoning during our stay (not from the hotel), and the staff went above and beyond to care for us. They brought medicine, prepared suitable meals, and checked on us constantly, making a tough time much easier. The rooms were comfortable, and the service was truly outstanding. Highly recommend Blanco Beach Resort for their incredible hospitality!
